Lapping Waters
Flooding in West Virginia killed at least 23 people, and damaged countless homes. John Baron, the co-owner of the Blue Parrot Cabaret club in Morgantown decided to offer help to the victims. For four days, the $20 for lap dances at his club was donated to flood relief. Baron says that he knows some people don’t like his business, but “at the end of the day, we are all West Virginians.” (RC/AP) ...Though some are a bit farther west than others.Original Publication Date: 14 August 2016
