Lesson for Drivers

Sadie and Peppi went for a drive in a Walmart parking lot in Wayne, W.Va. Sadie steered, but they drove into a wall. Do they need more driver’s ed? No: they’re dogs. They’d been left in the car — with the ignition on to power climate control — and somehow, they got the car moving. There was little damage to vehicle or building, and no injury to the dogs. The co-owner of a nearby vet service added to the usual advice not to leave pets in your car when it’s not running: “Apparently, if the car is running, that’s not a good idea either.” (AC/WSAZ Huntington) ...Just imagine if they’d figured out how to drive to the pet-food store.
