Makes You Feel Secure
A supervisor in a Tukwila, Wash., office asked one of his subordinates to sign papers in connection with a “performance improvement plan” — apparently, Peggy Lee Robbins’ work wasn’t up to snuff. Officials say Robbins pulled her gun and pointed it at him. The supervisor ran, and Robbins, a detention agent with the Department of Homeland Security, simply sat in her cubicle. Robbins surrendered after colleagues came toward her cubicle with their own pistols drawn, officials say. She was charged with assault on a federal officer. (AC/Seattle Times) ...Because assault on your boss is not a specially defined offense.Original Publication Date: 07 January 2018
