Mobile Gaming — Florida Division

Investigators say Vincent Barone, 38, was driving in Pinellas County, Fla., when he veered off the roadway and seriously injured two pedestrians who were standing on the sidewalk. Witnesses say Barone then fled the scene, but someone was able to follow him to a nearby convenience store, where they called the police and detained him until deputies arrived. Barone allegedly told the deputies he’d hit the pedestrians because he was distracted — by the game he was playing on his phone as he drove. He was charged with two counts of leaving the scene of a crash involving serious bodily injury. (MS/Bay News 9) ...As punishment, he should lose all his lives.
