Billy Warren Pierce Jr., 44, is being held in the Pasco County (Fla.) jail, charged with the sexual assault of a 9-year-old girl; he is facing life in prison. Pierce allegedly solicited another inmate to kill the girl, as well as her mother, father, sister, and uncle, offering $9,000 for the job. He knows the family well, and gave the other inmate details on where they lived, how to identify them, where the adults worked, how to get into the house, and more. The idea was apparently too much for the other inmate — an unnamed neo-Nazi: he turned Pierce in. Other evidence includes a copy of the contract Pierce signed with him, and an audio recording of the negotiation. When confronted by an investigator, Pierce was incredulous that he could be arrested, telling the detective, “But I haven’t paid him any money yet!” (RC/Tampa Bay Times, Bay News 9) ...Now we know why the neo-Nazi turned him in.Original Publication Date: 23 September 2018
