No Luck
Kerry Johnson, 52, told a court he doesn’t have any money — but he also claimed a $10,000 monthly income. Prosecutors say he told them he has a gambling problem; Charleston, W.Va., police say he told them that from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. he was at a casino. But something he says he “does not recall” has led to criminal charges: taking a break from the blackjack table to get more money by robbing a bank. He could face as much as two decades in prison. (AC/Charleston Gazette-Mail) ...He’s hoping to win those years back on the next hand.Original Publication Date: 07 August 2016
