No One Can Out-Stiff Al Gore

Ann Romney, wife of Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, went on a radio show in Baltimore, Md., to stick up for her husband. “I like to get out there, and get people to see the other side of Mitt, and know us in a different reflection when you see the family and how funny he is with the boys and with the grandkids,” she told the host and his audience. “But sometimes he comes off stiff,” host Clarence Mitchell observed. “Do you have to fight back some criticism, like ‘My husband isn’t stiff, OK?’” Mitchell asked. “Well, you know,” Mrs. Romney replied, “I guess we better unzip him and let the real Mitt Romney out because he is not.” She didn’t seem to be aware of her double entendre. (RC/New York Daily News) ...Maybe she’s just setting him up to take over Bob Dole’s endorsement contract in case Mitt loses in November.
