Holly Anne Albert, 30, of Potomac, Md., demanded that her mother drive her to yoga class. The unnamed mother says she refused, and Holly, who is unemployed and still living with her, “became irate, shouted insults,” and, when she turned away, threw the house phone at her, hitting her in the head. The mother picked up the phone and dialed 911 for help. Responding officers found the woman had “a blood saturated shirt” and her hair was “matted down with blood,” and mom explained that Holly wanted to go to her yoga class “for meditative purposes.” Holly has been charged with felony assault, and faces up to 10 years in prison.
