Oopsie

Jeanette Homan, 43, of North Palm Beach, Fla., called 911 to complain a man in her home threw her bottle of prescription narcotics. And oh by the way, she said a minute into the call, they might want to send an ambulance, too, because her 19-month-old may have eaten some of the scattered pills — 20 minutes ago. Medics say it took multiple doses of Narcan, an antidote, to save the unconscious girl, who was then hospitalized in intensive care. Homan told sheriff’s deputies that “someone” had spilled the drugs, then admitted she may have been the one to drop “one or two” of the tablets. Deputies found multiple pills scattered within the toddler’s reach. At the hospital, staff told deputies that the same child had been there three months before with an overdose, and Homan told them she had “dropped” the pills that time, too. Homan has been charged with “multiple” counts of child abuse. (RC//Palm Beach Post) ...Time for her to be “dropped” into prison.
