Our Lady of the Loaded Dice
Police raided an illegal gambling operation in Decatur, Ala. They arrested Timothy Roberts, 64, and Donna Weir, 67, and confiscated 17 gambling machines. According to police, there was also video surveillance and electronic bells to warn of any police presence. Roberts and Weir are being held on felony charges. Roberts, who was out on bail for allegedly running another illegal “casino,” had leased the entire office building, and then rented out portions of it to other businesses, including the non denominational Life Church.
