Parents Just Don’t Understand
The owner of Parenty Reitmeier Translation Services in Winnipeg, Man., Canada, says he’d asked parents for years to not drop off their children on the company’s property, yet students at the next door Marion School were still being dropped off there. He put up a sign in a humorous attempt to discourage parents: “This is not a drop off zone,” the sign said. “Children left here will be eaten.” Some parents didn’t see the humor and are outraged over the sign. “We’d expect this behavior from children,” parent Gems Dale said, “but we would definitely not take this from an adult.” Since the sign went up, a piece of tape was used to mask the word “children,” but “Putting a piece of tape on is not going to do anything,” Dale said. “We need to take the sign down and get rid of it and then apologize.” (MS/CTV) ...You go first, Dale.Original Publication Date: 23 December 2018
