“The parks department is very concerned with the brazenness of the coyote(s) in this area,” the city of Airdrie, Alta., Canada, said in a news release. The city was responding to an incident at the Festival of Lights in a city park: a 6-year-old boy was attacked by a coyote. Elizabeth Dawn says her son was uninjured thanks to his heavy snow suit — and that her boyfriend quickly went to the boy’s aid and scared the animal off. “However,” she added, “he is a bit upset he has not turned into a werewolf yet.” (RC/CBC) ...Next he’ll want to know how to be bitten by a radioactive spider.
