A 16-year-old driver was parking in a high-rise garage in Houston, Texas, when he accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake, sending the car out of the garage — four storeys up. “I saw the car, like, bam! Like a movie,” said witness Mynor Gomez. The car punched through the roof of Westheimer Plumbing and Hardware, knocking out power and bursting a water line. “Certainly not what we thought of when we’re thinking about our insurance coverage,” said shop owner Mary Ambrose. Thankfully, the store was closed and nobody, including the driver, was seriously hurt. “I think it’s a miracle; hand of God on that young man,” Ambrose said.
