Powered by Two Batteries
Edward Michael Dorsey, 54, of Largo, Fla., was treated at a hospital for an injury after a domestic battery incident. He was in police custody after allegedly hitting his wife, and when treatment was finished and police were taking him to jail, he allegedly attacked the hospital staff. Police say Dorsey “removed his glass eye” and “threw his glass eye at the ER doctor and ER nurse,” even after being warned not to do so. “I can do whatever I feel like doing,” he responded before he threw the eye. In addition to the domestic battery charge, Dorsey was charged with battery on an emergency medical care provider.
