Quick Comeuppance
“Yay...” Richard Cota posted on Facebook, “not going to die any time soon!!!” At the time, Cota, 37, was behind the wheel of his Dodge Neon near White City, Ore. “Moments” after the post, he tried to pass another car in a no-passing zone and hit a Ford F-350 pickup head-on. Cota was killed; Frederick French, 52, the opposing driver, and Cota’s wife, Amanda, 33, were severely injured.
