Quick Karma

Paramedics in St. Louis, Mo., were dispatched to a man who had been hit by a car. The medic who treated the man noticed something unusual, and after taking care of the victim’s medical needs called police over: the man was carrying items stolen from the medic’s car, which was parked in the fire station’s parking lot. The medical call came in 15 minutes after he filed the theft report. “He put his duty as a paramedic before anything else,” a fire department spokesman said. (RC/St. Louis Post-Dispatch) ...Yes, but remember that pain medication is always optional.
