Florida’s Homestead Air Reserve Base houses hundreds of military personnel — and F-16 fighter jets ready to scramble to address emergencies. “You never want to have anybody come onto an Air Force base, or any sort of military installation,” said former FBI agent Stuart Kaplan, “because we maintain top secret type of information [and] equipment.” But if you want to get an up close look at the military equipment on Homestead, just look at Diomonte Jean’s Facebook page. It has videos of Jean on the base in an Air Force uniform, sometimes mere feet from an armed jet. He is not a member of the U.S. Air Force. Jean claimed it was easy to get on base without a military ID. “They always check my driver’s license,” he said, “and they let me through with that.” Jean said he is now banned from the base because of his “prank.” Authorities will not comment on the ongoing investigation. (MS/WSVN Miami) ...Maybe they can hire him to do the same thing on enemy bases.
