Returning to the Scene of the Crime

A neighbor’s security camera picked up a car slowly driving by Terrell Harris’s Davie, Fla., home. In the video, the car pulled partly into the driveway and a man jumped out, and grabbed items out of the mailbox. Two days later video captured someone who police believe is the same man entering the house, then emerging a few minutes later, walking away with Harris’s dog, Stella, in tow. “What was taken was my heart,” said Harris, 34. He’s put up “stolen dog” posters and is offering a $1,000 reward for Stella’s return. “I haven’t been sleeping, I haven’t been eating,” Harris said.
