Police in Vernon Township, N.J., received a tip that an adult man was using several social media apps to meet young girls. Investigators started looking at the sites online and found a conversation at one that was “sexual in nature” and showed he was trying to meet a teen “in a location to perform sexual acts.” Police obtained a search warrant for any electronic devices in the Franklin Township home of Darryl Farrier, 36, and allege Farrier used multiple online personalities to lure teen girls into sex — and had “more than 100 images depicting the sexual exploitation and abuse of minors.” Farrier, who was arrested on various charges, was a youth pastor at Freedom Church in Oak Ridge.
