Socially Inept II
Henrik Ismarker was upset with people speeding on his street in Soderort, Sweden, so he “tweeted” a complaint to police on Twitter. Sure enough, they got the complaint and gave the street extra patrol the next day, with special priority because there is a school on the street. And they quickly caught a speeder: Ismarker, who was clocked at 42 kph in a 30 kph zone. He was fined 2,400 kronor (US$358). “This couldn’t be a bigger fail then,” Ismarker tweeted when it was all over. “But thanks for the lesson.” He admitted that the whole event was “embarrassing, stupid, and a good lesson,” but “I’m very satisfied with the police response.” (RC/Sweden Local) ...As long as he has the ability to learn and appreciate the learning, it isn’t a total fail.Original Publication Date: 29 April 2012
