These — it’s not clear whether they’re exact quotes — are among the questions Jason Fields says were on a form his ex boss Sharon Lindon gave him after she learned he was getting divorced. As he tells the story, she said “demons” were at the root of his problem, and she demanded that he undergo a “cleansing,” a procedure similar to an exorcism that she’d undergone herself “three or four times.” Fields ultimately quit and filed a religious discrimination suit against Lindon and the company where he worked under her: the Hampton Inn hotel in Hazard, Ky.
