Fairfax County, Va., may implement fees for street parking in two of its communities, Tysons Corner and Reston, which are becoming congested, as well as “other parts of the county as appropriate.” They are paying a consultant $100,000 to review the situation before implementing any new plans, but “I think this is inevitable,” said county Supervisor Pat Herrity. (RC/WTOP Washington D.C.) ...Well yeah, thanks to a $100,000 budget shortfall.
