Thank You for the Opportunity

In the run-up to Christmas, Jackson Racicot, 17, quit his job at the Walmart store in Grande Prairie, Alta., Canada. “I don’t regret what I did,” he says. “I went into this knowing what will happen” because his resignation was rather public: he delivered it on the store’s P.A. system. “Attention all shoppers, associates and management. I would like to say, to all of you today, that nobody should work here. Ever.” he ranted. “I’ve been a loyal employee here for a year and a half and I’m sick of all the bulls--t, bogus write ups and my job.” He then cursed his boss and walked out. But it wasn’t a spontaneous act: Racicot had already secured a new job. (RC/Edmonton Journal) ...And boy is his new boss nervous.
