The Future Looks Bleak
A 53-year-old woman was staying at a motel with her boyfriend, George Pineda, 44. After drinking the evening away, they started talking about their future. The woman suggested Pineda might try taking anger management classes. According to the woman, Pineda responded by screaming profanities at her, grabbing her by the neck, and choking her. She managed to push him off, and when Pineda fell asleep later, she ran away and called authorities. Pineda denied the allegations, but police saw the marks on her neck and arrested him on charges of domestic battery by strangulation. Court records show that Pineda has several convictions, including aggravated battery and domestic battery.
