An unidentified student at H.L. Bourgeois High School in Gray, La., told a sheriff’s deputy that he was “frustrated and tired of being bullied” by other students. And that’s why he used a smartphone app to “shoot” other students at school. He then uploaded video of that to Youtube; it has since been removed. “With all the school shooting we’ve had in the United States, it’s just not a very good game to be playing at this time,” said Major Malcolm Wolfe of the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office. Wolfe acknowledges the boy said “he had no intentions of hurting anybody,” and his parents say he has no access to firearms, but “we have to take all threats seriously.” He says law enforcement “can’t ignore it,” because “we don’t know at what time that game becomes reality.” Therefore, the boy has been arrested and charged with terrorizing, and interference of the operation of a school. (RC/WGNO New Orleans) ...Since we don’t know when anyone could cross the line from “game” to “reality” and perhaps, just maybe, commit an actual crime, all Louisianans are ordered to report to jail immediately.
