Tools of the Trade II
A man pulled a gun at a Waffle House restaurant in Villa Rica, Ga., and announced a robbery, but the frightened employees didn’t give him any money. When a customer saw the robber was serious, the customer pulled his own gun — he has a permit — and shot him. The robber dropped the gun, ran to a waiting getaway car, and escaped, but Adrian Wordlow, 28, was found later 20 miles away in Carrollton, where the getaway driver had dumped his body, and the car. Wordlow’s Facebook page says he’s a youth pastor; his pistol turned out to be a BB gun. The customer who fired the shot won’t be charged with any crime, since police ruled the shooting was “justified use of force” to repel a robbery. However, the alleged getaway driver, Terrell Lovon Bailey, 41, has been charged with murder, since a death occurred during the commission of a felony.
