Trike, Trike Again
Leida Crisostomo tried to get away on a tricycle, Collier County, Fla., sheriff’s deputies say. She’s 52, and it didn’t work. Deputies accuse her of using a gun to menace a jogger, and to stop a postal truck to steal from it. She only took one package, and the gun wasn’t real, but she faces charges of aggravated assault and armed robbery. During her arrest, she protested that “voices were telling her to do things,” the sheriff’s office said. Oh, and she said something else, too: She’s God. (AC/Naples Daily News) ...If you’re God, you don’t obey random voices.Original Publication Date: 30 December 2018
