“We’re not clothing-optional,” says Jim Johnson. “We found over the years, with clothing-optional places, you get more gawkers, people who just want to show up and look.” Thus, “We’re a nudist campground.” Johnson runs the Dyer Woods Nudist Campgrounds in Foster, R.I., which has a job opening for a lifeguard for their pond swimming area. They must be state-certified, and can wear a swimsuit if they really want to — but he doesn’t quite see the point of that. (RC/Providence Journal) ...Best part of the job: you get to watch closely.
