Seth Lookhart knocked people out with intravenous drugs, prosecutors say. That’s not the problem: the Anchorage, Alaska, dentist was licensed to sedate patients. The problem, the state says, is he did it when it wasn’t necessary, and thereby billed Medicaid an unwarranted $1.8 million. He’s also accused of performing extra procedures while he had his patients under, and of diverting money to his own LLC from the dental clinic he worked for. Oh, and extracting an unconscious patient’s tooth on video — and while standing on a hoverboard.
