Wake-Up Call

A couple in Cape Coral, Fla., was awakened by a loud bang — and saw a large hole in their headboard, and another in the dresser mirror at the foot of the bed. They called police. Investigating officers went to the apartment next door and discovered thick books taped together on the bookshelf with a target drawn on the front using red marker. The bookshelf was on the wall between the two apartments, and three gunshots had hit the target. Ivan Bakh, 61, was charged with firing a weapon in public, and shooting into a dwelling. The apartment door and window had multiple stickers including “Supporting the Second Amendment”, “American and Proud”, National Rifle Association, and U.S. Marine Corps. (MS/Ft.
