What’s on a Subway Track and Goes Honk?
New York City police were summoned to a train track in Brooklyn to apprehend a proverbially silly creature that caused Coney Island bound Q trains to run express. A goose was on the local track near the Parkside Avenue station; power to that track was cut while the bird found its way to the next station, where it was caught. “This news comes after reports NY wants to ban foie gras!” noted one Twitter user. “The goose lobby in NY is strong.” (AC/New York Daily News, WABC New York) ...Heaven help subway riders if the rats form a PAC.Original Publication Date: 10 February 2019
