When People Don’t Have Something Constructive to Do

In the first 9 months of 2016, Colorado’s Denver International Airport received over 4,400 complaints about airplane noise — and 3,349 of them came from one man. That’s more than 12 complaints a day, 7 days a week. “This complainant increased their complaints by about 24 percent as compared to the same period in 2015,” says a DIA report — the same man made 3,555 complaints in 2015, or almost 10 per day. If that’s not weird enough, the man lives in Strasburg, Colo., which is 30 miles away from the airport. The complaints are filed online, the airport says.
