Where There’s Smoke, There’s a Crime Scene
A man in Lakeway, Texas, called police after he discovered someone had used bolt cutters to break into an animal pen in his back yard. A 7-month-old, 245-pound goat was missing. Someone told him they thought Javier Aguirre had taken the animal, so police went to Aguirre’s house in Austin. The 27-year-old man admitted he took the goat, but couldn’t give it back: he fed it to guests at a neighborhood barbeque. Aguirre noted he chose that particular goat because it was “very gentle, like a dog,” investigators noted.
