Wigged Out

An armed robbery of a McDonald’s in Macon, Ga., by a man wearing a wig was interrupted when the robber was shot. The employees had fled, so it became clear that the robber had — apparently accidentally — shot himself. The robber also fled, and a few minutes later a man was heard yelling for help nearby. When police arrived there, they found Donte Sherrod Grayer, 26, with a bullet wound in the left thigh. He had stripped down to his boxer shorts, and he was lying amid his clothing, matching the description of the robber’s attire. He was also steps from a wig, and scattered money traced to the robbery.
