Yep, it Was Loaded
Missouri State Highway Patrol detectives were brought in to investigate a shooting in Green City, population 650. It happened when an unidentified man threatened to commit suicide in a room at the Green City Motel and Party Mart (no, really!) The man, who had a handgun, locked himself in the room’s bathroom, and his brother kicked the door down to stop him. When the door flew open, it hit the suicidal man in the head, and the surprise resulted in the gun going off, shooting his brother, who was hospitalized in fair condition. The man with the gun didn’t kill himself. (RC/KTVO Kirksville) ...Because getting knocked in the head was enough to make him realize he didn’t want to die at a Motel and Party Mart.Original Publication Date: 15 January 2017
