According to Winter Haven, Fla., police, Stephanie Stinson, 33, told her 15-year-old daughter she wanted to buy some marijuana. Her daughter texted a 15-year-old boy she knew who could provide the drugs. When they met for the deal, Stinson allegedly gave the teen $20 for a bag of pot and, apparently, expected some change back. The teen didn’t offer any and, when he tried to get back into his car, police say Stinson rammed her car into his, and sent the boy flying over the car and into the road. Stinson’s daughter called 911 as they drove away. The boy was airlifted to a hospital with multiple injuries. Stinson and her daughter went to the police department the next morning, and the mother was charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving injury, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
