A Normal Month in the Life of a Female Celebrity

On April 4, Bruce Rowley, 26, allegedly robbed a bank in Ansonia, Conn., and took the loot to singer Taylor Swift’s house in Rhode Island where, he told police, he threw some of the cash over the fence to impress her. “It seemed he wanted to propose to her,” said an Ansonia Police Dept. spokesman. On April 8, Justin Lilly, 23, who was described as homeless, was arrested after allegedly trying to climb over a wall at Swift’s Beverly Hills, Calif., home, and ignored demands by security guards that he leave. On April 14, Julius Sandrock, 38, who told police he suffered from depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and manic episodes, was arrested, charged with felony stalking after he allegedly showed up at the same home wearing a mask and rubber gloves, and had a knife, rope, ammunition and more masks and gloves in his car. And on April 20, Roger Alvarado, 22, was arrested inside Swift’s New York City townhouse and charged with stalking, burglary, criminal mischief and trespassing. He allegedly climbed up a ladder, broke a window, went in, took a shower, and got into Swift’s bed to take a nap. Swift, 28, has not been present at any of the incidents.
