All in a Day’s Work

Police responded to calls to the Capitol Hill area of Seattle, Wash., to find a man rolling down the street in an office chair. According to police reports, the man was holding a set of drumsticks, had a hubcap tied to his arm, and was wearing motorcycle goggles and several scarves and purses. He allegedly explained to officers that he was “late for a gig.” The man allegedly gave a false name and told the officers to cuff him, which they did. He then rolled back into the street and had to be caught again. This time, the man allegedly spat at them and said it was a “warning shot.” After they finally had the man in custody, they searched him and found a 12-inch crowbar, along with a belt buckle and necklace stuffed into his gloves. He was taken to a hospital for mental health evaluation. (MS/Seattle Post-Intelligencer) ...Why? It doesn’t sound that much different than other musicians on their way to a gig.
