And It’s All Capped by Christmas Dinner

A driver for Colorado Meat and Seafood Company desperately tried to notify a railroad to report his truck had stalled, completely blocking the track in Lakeland, Fla. Sure enough, a train was coming, and it split his trailer in two, spilling his frozen load all around the intersection. As railroad employees worked to clean up the mess, nearby residents swarmed in to pick up the beef, seafood, and bacon, as the food company didn’t want the spilled meats. “People are hungry,” said one woman. “Some people are so hungry they’ll wash it off. Everybody needs something. It’s Christmas.” (RC/WTVT Tampa) ...Pieces on Earth.
