Bad Call
A man dropped his phone, so he tried to pick it up. But once he’d bent down, he found he couldn’t stand up again. The unnamed man was on a jetty in Narragansett, R.I., and he’d gotten his head stuck in the rocks. It took about two and a half hours — and some olive oil — but firefighters were able to rescue him before the tide rose high enough to drown him. (AC/WJAR Providence) ...But the phone, the phone! Did they rescue the phone?!Original Publication Date: 02 October 2016
