The chickens were colorful, and bedecked in glitter — green, silver, and gold. They were in a courtroom, and they had no heads. The two birds were discovered in Bridgeport, Conn., when workers went looking for what was stinking up an arraignment court. They’re not the first headless chickens in the area, but in the past, the birds were outside courthouses rather than inside. Headless chickens are used in a Santeria ritual to avert criminal convictions.
