Call the Shots
A 911 caller in Detroit, Mich., reported a robbery in progress. Police responded and saw a man jump out of a a black Jeep with no doors, holding what appeared to be a gun, “running up to an Aston Martin vehicle,” said police spokesman Dan Donakowski, “and appeared to be robbing the Aston Martin.” When officers approached, the apparent robber turned toward them, gun in hand, so one of the cops “fired three shots, but none took effect,” Donakowski said. Which is a good thing, since the men were doing a video shoot, and the Aston Martin driver was in on it. The men had no filming permits and were ordered to stop, but weren’t arrested. (RC/Detroit News) ...They didn’t do a little paperwork, so now one cop has to do a lot of paperwork.Original Publication Date: 09 July 2017
