Complaint Lodged

Cayden John Minto, 27, pleaded guilty to burglary and blackmail after stealing a human skull and bones, as well as ceremonial knives and robes, from the temple of a Masonic lodge in Nelson, New Zealand. After the theft, Minto negotiated the return of the items for “7 grams.” The Southern Star Lodge didn’t quite understand the demand, and decided he meant “seven grand” — $7,000. No, Minto admitted later, he meant 7 grams of meth. He was easily caught because he was doing the negotiation via Facebook, using his real name. The stolen items were recovered by police and returned to the lodge, and Minto is being held in jail pending sentencing. (RC/Nelson Mail) ...Once it was determined the lodge didn’t want his “too tiny” skull.
