Dead and Gone

Sandra Roskilly walked out on her front porch in Denver, Colo., on a Friday, and was shot to death by a neighbor. That Monday, the Denver Housing Authority locked her family out of the place — even her mother and son, who lived with her but were not on the lease. “We understand the family is under duress,” the agency said in a statement, “but we will be locking the unit because they have no legal rights.” (AC/KMGH Denver) ...You confuse “they have no legal rights” with “we have no decency.”
