Decapods Debarking

“A wiggling mass of live crabs” causing a “horrid smell” was spotted on a subway train in New York, N.Y. They were first seen on a train at the Sunset Park station in Manhattan, and again later at Queensboro Plaza. Shawn Petcaugh saw them in Queens, and estimated there were about 50 of the crustaceans. His comment: “How? Why?” The transit authority had “no comment.” WNBC headlined the story “Pile of Live Crabs Grosses Out Straphangers on N Train”. (RC/WNBC New York) ...Oh, like that’s the first time someone on a New York subway train had a bad case of the crabs.
