Discipline Needed

A fight at a school bus stop got so bad both participants had to go to the hospital — one of them airlifted in serious condition. They’d both used pieces of a mug as weapons after one of them broke it over the other’s head. The fight began, North Port, Fla., police say, as a dispute about parenting: the participants were both mothers. Dozens of grade-school-age kids were witnesses; they’re being offered counseling. “What do you think about parents acting that way?” a journalist asked Bairon Velazquez, who saw the fight from a school bus window. “Crazy,” he replied. (AC/WFTS Tampa Bay) ...Maybe the kids should counsel the parents.
