Canadian researchers say that the advent of self-driving cars will lead to passenger boredom, and there’s something that’s very likely to result: “I am predicting that, once computers are doing the driving, there will be a lot more sex in cars,” says Barrie Kirk, Executive Director of the Canadian Automated Vehicles Centre of Excellence. “That’s one of several things people will do which will inhibit their ability to respond quickly when the computer says to the human, ‘Take over’.” (RC/Canadian Press) ...Which command is disturbingly similar to what many sex partners say when things get confusing.Original Publication Date: 15 May 2016
