Travis Schelling, 35, was irate after he saw his girlfriend’s Facebook feed. He apparently thought each post shown was a direct message to her, so he allegedly hit her each time he read a post. Police say the assault lasted over 3 hours as Schelling punched and slapped her, pulled her hair, and sexually assaulted her. The girlfriend told police that after the assault, Schelling wouldn’t let her leave her Phoenix, Ariz., apartment, fearing she might call 911. After he finally left, the girlfriend did report the incident, and Schelling was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, sexual abuse, kidnaping, threatening, and refusing to allow a victim to call 911. (MS/Arizona Republic) ...Time for her to update her relationship status.
