Don’t Show, Don’t Tell

It was “show and tell” day at Sweet Springs (Mo.) Elementary School. In the kindergarten glass, a boy stepped up to show the class something that’s apparently special in his home: his mother’s crack pipe and “several baggies of crack rocks,” according to the resulting police report. The “rocks” in the baggie tested positive for methamphetamine — a good ounce worth, police say, with a street value of about $3,700. A search warrant was issued for the mother’s home, and more paraphernalia was found. Michelle Marie Cheatham, 32, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, and one count of first-degree child endangerment. (RC/KCTV Kansas City) ...On the bright side, the boy didn’t need medication for ADD.
