Dreaded Occurrence

The clerk at a discount store in Melbourne, Fla., was able to give police a description of the man who robbed her, even though he was wearing a mask. (His weapon: a roll of toilet paper he was threatening to set afire with a torch lighter). He had come into the store earlier, and she had chatted with him about his dreadlocks because they were the same color as her hair: pink. An officer noticed a man matching the description outside the store and arrested Xavier Sean Kennedy, 21, who was charged with attempted robbery with a deadly weapon and mask. (RC/Florida Today) ...“Deadly” since he was holding the roll “under” rather than “over.”
